Elegant, noble Thiers knife from Claude Dozorme with handle scales made of flattering horn tip. The traditional handle material is available in many colour nuances, from very light with shocko-coloured inclusions to brown striped.
The tight back spring is beautifully decorated by hand. Claude Dozorme includes a small key to adjust the movement of the blade. The polished blade is made from high-quality 14C28N steel
In 1980, this knife shape, which is based on the shape known since 1528, was declared Le THIERS by a jury of which Claude DOZORME was a member. Fixed rules were drawn up for its manufacture, guaranteeing the buyer a high quality of workmanship.

The company CLAUDE DOZORME was founded in 1902 in the heart of Auvergne, in the French knife capital of Thiers. The tradition of the forge has been continued for over 100 years and was family-owned until 2022. Didier Perret is the new owner of the traditional company since March 2022.
CLAUDE DOZORME manufactures all knives from A-Z in its own workshop. The range includes traditional Laguiole pocket knives, avant-garde folding knives and tableware.
The master blacksmiths are regularly trained in new knife making and sharpening techniques. CLAUDE DOZORME uses only the best, finest materials. The knife forge is regarded as one of the most innovative forges, whose products have already won many design awards.
