Handgefertigtes Backlock Messer aus der Camargue.Aus dem Süden Frankreichs stammt dieses ästhetische Taschenmesser. Didier Lascombe fertigt im familiär geführten Betrieb in Bezouce das Camarguais in liebevoller Handarbeit.Für die Griffschalen wird heimisches Buchsholz verarbeitet. Dieses Hartholz ist kaum gemasert und begeistert durch seine helle Farbe. Die Bolsters tragen das Symbol der Camargue, das Camargue-Kreuz. Der Griff verjüngt sich zu den Bolstern hin und liegt dadurch perfekt in der Hand. Die geschmiedete Rückenfeder ist guillochiert und endet zum Klingenhals hin in einem Symbol, dem Dreizack. Damit stellt Monsieur Lascombe eine Parallele zum traditionelle Hirtenstab der Gardians (Stier- und Rinderhirten der Camargue) her. Dieser endet zur Spitze hin ebenfalls in einem Dreizack.Das stilvolle Messer verriegelt über einen Backlock. Die Klinge wurde aus leistungsfähigem 12C27 Stahl gefertigt. Dieser rostfreie Stahl gilt als schnitthaltig und ist leicht zu schärfen. Auf der Klinge befindet sich die Prägung Le Camarguais.

Exklusives Laguiole Messer mit Griffschalen aus einem fossilen Mammutbackenzahn Mineralische Einlagerungen bringen dieses farbenprächtige Muster hervor. Erst vor 8000 bis 10000 Jahren starben die letzten großen Mammuts aus.Heute findet man vor allem an der sibirischen Polarmeerküste und im Permafrost Mammutelfenbein. Eine Ausfuhr ist nur nach einer wissenschaflichen Auswertung und entsprechender Lizenz möglich. Mammutelfenbein unterliegt aber nicht dem Artenschutzabkommen und darf frei gehandelt werden. Einzigartig ist die schöne Struktur und der edle Glanz des Materials. Nur etwa 10% des erworben Materials eignet sich zur Herstellung der Griffschalen. Aufgrund der Beschaffenheit des Griffmaterials verzichtet Laguiole en Aubrac hier auf das Hirtenkreuz. Sowohl die Rückenfeder wie auch die Doppelplatinen (oben und unten), wurden vom Schmiedemeister filigran verziert. Dabei hat jeder Schmiedemeister sein eigenes Muster/Unterschrift die sogenannte Guillochage. Die Klinge ist eine handgeschmiedete "Brut de Forge" Klinge mit Schmiedehaut. Laguiole en Aubrac fertigt diese in deren eigenen Schmiede im Dorf Montezic. Der nicht rostfreie Carbonstahl ist sehr scharf ausschleifbar und bestens nachzuschleifen. Zur Pflege eignet sich feines Öl. Sollte die Klinge etwas Patina bekommen eignet sich hier feine Polierpaste um diese zu entfernen.Klinge und Backen erhielten ein poliertes Finish.
