Fontenille Pataud Le LOMBARD ebony stainless fafnir-damascus
Le Lombard – A Knife of Tradition and Elegance The Le Lombard draws inspiration from traditional French knife shapes such as the Yssingeaux or Sauveterre. Yet this first design by Adrien Giovaninetti, created in 2016, possesses a distinctive and unique character of its own. After deciding to step away from knifemaking and devote himself entirely to composing his oratorio, production of the Le Lombard was entrusted to the renowned cutlery workshop Fontenille Pataud. Each knife is meticulously handcrafted. Slim and refined, the Le Lombard sits comfortably and securely in the hand.handles: ebony decorated with mammoth inlay and fileworkhandle 11,5 cmTotal length knife 20,5 cmBlade 9 cmBlade steel: Damastell damascus stainless Fafnir 160 layers - HRC 60Blade thickness 2,5 mmBlade height 19,4 mmweight 80 gramm Delivery including leather case 100% handmade in France

Origine 1929 – The soul of the manufactory in your hand Tradition in its finest form The Origine 1929 folding knife is more than just an accessory: it is a piece of Fontenille Pataud’s history. This model, designed and crafted entirely in the workshops in Thiers, is a living tribute to the year the manufactory was founded. It is crafted entirely by hand. This exquisite pocket knife sits perfectly in the hand and impresses with its sleek, elegant lines. The handle scales are made from carefully selected desert ironwood, decorated with fine carvings. The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel – a steel that can be honed to a very fine edge and is prized for both its sharpness and its ability to be resharpened. It locks via a precisely fitted back-lock system. The liners are adorned with delicate guilloché work. The forged resort ends in a forged bee, which is decorated with the brand’s logo.
