Le Français is a knife that has a rare elegance that allows it to be as comfortable in the city and countryside.
Perceval uses the very latest, cutting-edge metallurgy technology for its Damascus blades. The steel is laminated using powder technology. This crystalline-scale sintering method preserves the fine-grained texture and makes the alloy highly resistant to corrosion. On Le Français model, the Damascus derives from twisted bars that, after grinding, reveal the fine wavy lines and star shapes that characterize the "Twist" motif.
Folding knife with liner-lock, screw-mounted. Straightening, assembly, shaping, polishing, finishing and sharpening are all handcrafted in our Thiers workshop.

Dieses Holz wird wegen seines eleganten Glanzes und der schwarz-dunkelbraunen Maserung der Faser oder Marmorierung geschätzt und lässt sich sehr gut in der Kunstdrechslerei oder für Skulpturen verarbeiten.
Für die Damastklingen setzt Perceval die neuesten Innovationen im Bereich der Metallverarbeitung ein. Die Lamellierung dieses Stahls wird durch Pulvertechnik erzielt. Philippe Soeuvre has dedicated himself to damask forging. He has been working full-time as a damask and artisan blacksmith for more than 15 years. He lives and works in Quarré-les-Tombes in France. Philippe completed several apprenticeships and received various awards for his work. He tries to revive ancient knowledge. He uses only iron, steel and pure nickel for his damask blades.
The handle scales of this aesthetic gentleman's knife are made of ebony from mocambique and reconstructed malachite stone. This handle material has an extremely pleasant feel and very attractive appearance. The material merges into beautiful mosaic damaskus bolsters. They form a perfect unit with the blade.
The plates are decorated to match this pattern. The inner resort is also decorated and engraved with PH.SOUEVRE.
