Fontenille Pataud 1929 SIGNATURE ebony stainless damascus

Description

Fontenille Pataud Signature 1929 – Timeless Elegance with a Modern Character

The Signature 1929 folding knife combines the traditional craftsmanship of Fontenille Pataud with a clean, modern design. This elegant pocket knife is entirely handcrafted in Thiers, the French capital of cutlery making.

The refined gentleman’s knife sits comfortably in the hand and impresses with its slim silhouette and harmonious lines. The thuya burl wood handle scales give each knife its own character, with individual grain patterns and the natural beauty of the wood.
Unlike the Origine 1929 model, the Signature features a smooth backspring without a forged decorative tip. This enhances its understated design and allows the materials to take centre stage.

The blade, made from Swedish Damasteel®, is a real eye-catcher. Produced using powder metallurgy, this Damascus steel captivates with its striking, unique pattern, which makes every blade one of a kind. Behind this fascinating appearance lies modern steel technology: the stainless Damasteel® impresses with its corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention. The blade thus combines exceptional aesthetics with high functionality.

The blade is securely locked in the open position by a precisely fitted back-lock system.

With its carefully engineered mechanism and meticulous finish, this pocket knife is a stylish companion for anyone who appreciates high-quality French cutlery.
