In the village of Levie, in the heart of the Alta Rocca in South Corsica, Franck THOMAS and Jean-François TRAMONI make traditional Corsican shepherd's knives.The handle of the Cornicciolu is made from a piece of ram's horn into which the seat of the blade is sawn. The forged Brut de Forge blade is made of XC75 steel. The non-stainless blade steel is finely and sharply ground.
The dark blade is polished towards the edge.
