"Luchs" hunting pocket knife with stag horn handle The Reineke from Otter Messer is a practical hunting pocket knife for the hunting ground and outdoors. The blade can be folded away to save space and is securely locked in place when open by a backlock mechanism, ensuring safe and controlled handling. The genuine stag horn handle gives the knife a classic look and fits comfortably in the hand. The knife is manufactured in Solingen, a city with a long tradition of blade making. OTTER Knives uses 14C28N stainless steel for the blade. This steel is resistant to moisture and also taste-neutral. Both the edge retention and sharpness of this steel are excellent. The blade is crafted from 14C28N stainless steel – a steel that can be honed to a very fine edge and is prized for both its sharpness and its ability to be resharpened. Collector’s knife – hand-forged ‘Explosion Damascus’ blade An elegant Laguiole knife with handle scales made from finely grained walnut burl. The grain of the wood is very distinctive and seems to continue into the expressive Damascus pattern. This Laguiole knife is fitted with finely decorated guard plates. The hilt is kept simple and culminates in an expressively designed bee, the ‘Hornet’ model. The icing on the cake is undoubtedly the Explosion Damascus blade, hand-forged at the Montézic forge. Various metal components, welded together and repeatedly folded, produce this beautiful, high-contrast damask pattern.
