The knife nanufactur MCC COGNET from Thiers, active since 1835, is closely associated with one of the most famous French knives, the Douk-Douk. In their workshop, in the heart of the world capital of cutlery, all knives are made by hand using traditional methods. The heritage of over 180 years of knifemaking expertise is reflected not only in the world-famous Douk-Douk, but also in regional knife types such as the Montpellier or the Capucin.
