Traditional Corsican Cornicciolu made by hand

In the village of Levie, in the heart of the Alta Rocca in South Corsica, Franck THOMAS, Jean-François TRAMONI and Olivier MORETTI make traditional Corsican shepherd's knives.
The handle of the Cornicciolu is made from a piece of ram's horn into which the seat of the blade is sawn. The handforged blade is made of damascus steel. The non-stainless blade steel is finely and sharply ground.

Founded in Corsica over 35 years ago, Coutellerie du Lotus designs and manufactures its pieces in a constant quest for quality and respect for the traditions of artisan forging. The materials used are selected and crafted by the owners themselves.
