Au Sabot knives from Thiers

AU SABOT is one of the oldest brands of French knives. The company was founded in 1870 by Étienne Fontenille. Today the company in Thiers is managed by the Sauzedde family. The knowledge from six centuries is thus brought into production on a daily basis. All AU SABOT models are manufactured using traditional techniques and with the constant integration of modern techniques. We have a large number of regional French knife types. The handmade knives in our range are simple, traditional French pocket knives that do not want to compete with high-end products.
