The precisely crafted Le Terril is a homage to the North French mining industry and was designed by Pascal Charles and Aurélien Canon. The family history of the two developers is rich in mining history with a father or a grandfather, the small mine 9 north in Harnes and the mine 6 to Hénin-Liétard of one and the other of the coal dealers in Lallaing.

The trapezoidal shape of the knife is reminiscent of a "pile" of French Terril, an artificial hill, which is caused by mining residues. A special eye-catcher are certainly grips made of ground coal, which has been stabilized with resin. The "Brut" version has a pleasant, structured feel. The resort is kept simply smooth. The Le Terril has a very pleasant, not too tight blade passage and lies well in the hand. The blade is made of easy-to-cut 12C27 Sandvik steel. This stainless steel is considered to be very cut and easy to sharpen. The blade has a matte finish.

The scope of delivery includes an elaborately designed presentation box which is also made by DUTILLEUL INDUSTRIES.
