The Laguiole steak knives are made mainly by hand by AU SABOT, based in Thiers, the French capital for cutlery.
The handle scales of the modern Laguiole steak knives are made of POM, a very high-quality and haptically pleasant plastic. It is characterised by its high resilience. The table knives can therefore also be used without hesitation in professional gastronomy. The handle material is water-resistant and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The knife lies well in the hand. The blade is made of high-quality, cutting-friendly X50CrMoV15 steel. The finish of the Laguiole steak knives is polished.
