Mugellano horn tip shiny - handmade in Scarperia

The typical hunting knife of the Mugello, located in the heart of Tuscany not far from Florent.
The Mugellano is a typical hunting knife. The older models were fitted with extractors, which disappeared with the advent of modern rifles.

It has been produced and used in Scarperia since the early twentieth century and has a large leaf-shaped blade. They are slipjoint knives. The Mugellano is usually covered with cow horn or wood scales and is particularly robust and also popular for purposes other than hunting.
