Atelier Odae Le PASSAGER G10 & Micarta

Description

inspired by the shape of the historic Capucin Knife, the Le Passager (Passanger) comes with its traditional elegance. Particularly important for Pierre THOMAS is quality, precision and the processing of high quality materials.
The handle scales of the Le Passager are made from a combination of G10 and Micarta. G10 is an extremely robust composite material consisting of fibreglass weave and epoxy resin. Micarta is a robust yet comfortable-to-grip composite material made from several layers of fabric or paper bonded together with resin under high pressure. The plates and the spacer of the knife are decorated with handcarving details.
The blade steel is made from stainless 14C28N sandvik steel.

The Le Passager is an elegant, hand-carving knife that perfectly integrates into the world of fine French knives.

Atelier Ôdae - Pierre Thomas blacksmithr in Thiers

Pierre THOMAS was born in Perigord/France in 1991. He came to Thiers at the age of 20 and learned the art of cutlery here.

He worked for the PERCEVAL forge, among others. In 2017, the young, talented blacksmith set up his own workshop.

Pierre worked for more than 6 months on the development of his "Le Passager". The result is an elegant, beautifully shaped foldingknife that you won't want to put down.

In the meantime, several other pocket knife models were added, such as the Philéas.
