Atelier NÉVÉ Tim Bernard mother of pearl and coral stonewashed blade
€950.00
Available, delivery time: 1-3 days
Handcrafted at Tim Bernard’s Atelier NÉVÉ in Thiers, the historic French knife-making town, this elegant gentleman’s knife combines fine materials with French knife-making craftsmanship.
The eye-catching feature is an extraordinary handle made of red coral and shimmering mother-of-pearl.
The delicate texture of the coral contrasts beautifully with the light mother-of-pearl accents, creating a striking contrast. The harmonious combination of colours and materials gives the knife an expressive and elegant appearance.
The plates are meticulously hand-hammered, whilst the spacer is subtly guilloché-engraved. The dark, stonewashed blade, made from 14C28N stainless steel, offers excellent edge retention and is easy to resharpen.
Tim Bernard created the Névé in 2015 on the occasion of the competition of the Institut National des métiers d'art at the end of his training. He comes from the Hautes Alpes (05) and wanted to design a knife with a fluid and lively shape that resembles Alpine rivers ...
Tim describes it as great luck to have been trained by Manu Laplace 1515. The skills and refined abilities learned there guarantee quality products made with passion and care.
