Le Lombard combines tradition and elegance

Le Lombard is based on traditional knife shapes such as the Yssingeaux or the Sauveterre. Nevertheless, the first work designed in 2016 by Adrien Giovaninetti is independent. The pocket knife, made entirely by hand, fits perfectly in the hand. The scales are made of real coral and mammoth ivory.  The materials radiate a wonderful harmony. The rivets in the middle of the handle are also striking and are underlaid with brass discs. The very finely decorated plates are a dreamlike work. The back spring appears to be decorated but is made of damascus and thus forms a homogeneous connection to the damascus blade. The blade steel comes from Damasteel®. This stainless steel, produced by powder metallurgy, is wonderfully fine and sharply ground. The beautifully shaped, elegant slipjoint knife is impeccably finished. The elegant slip-joint knife is perfectly finished.
