The JAMES is the third model from the LIÉRANDE forge after the Le Thiers® and the Cutter.
It is equipped with the same basic features, but the JAMES is slightly rounder and more compact.
Being even more compact, it will be an ideal companion in your pocket.
Geoffroy was always very close to his grandfather, who supported him both spiritually and financially in his Liérande project.
He passed away at the beginning of 2022. As a tribute to him and because he told him a lot about his childhood as a farmer's son, Geoffroy was looking for a new, more traditional model, round and compact, reminiscent of the little boats used by farmers.
His name, JAMES, is simply his grandfather's first name.
As for his choice of lettering, it is the handwriting of his mother, James' daughter (who also invented the name Liérande), which has been applied to the blade.
This knife is entirely familial and authentic, like the love Geoffroy had for his late grandfather.
The knife handle is made of one piece (monobloc) X20Cr13 stainless steel, painted with black, textured epoxy lacquer.. Pressing the patented lock system unlocks the blade.
Like the Le Thiers, the James is an ultra-flat, lightweight utility knife for every day use. The innovative design makes the knife an eye-catcher.
