The CAPUCIN pocket knife impresses with its modern and elegant lines. For many centuries, it was one of the most widely used folding knives in the south of France.
Its handle shape is reminiscent of a monk with his characteristic monk's cap, hence the name CAPUCIN. The handle is made from a single piece of serpent wood and lies comfortably in the hand.
The beautifully shaped pocket knife belongs to the "Piémontais" knife type, whose roots go back to the Middle Ages. It does not lock. (Friction folder) Originally and traditionally, the handles of a CAPUCIN are made of horn or wood.
The blade is made from extremely sharp XC75 carbon steel. It is very finely ground and can be easily resharpened.
