Adrien Giovaninetti TEDESCO Custom burl of ironwood damascus
TEDESCO- CUSTOM - by Adrien Giovaninetti
The slipjoint knife TEDESCO is made by hand in Thiers, the French knifemaking metropolis. It is flat and has a perfect hand position due to the shape of the handle.
The handle scales are made of burl of ironwood. The stainless Damasteel blade is held in place by a taut spring. The damask pattern perfectly complements the handle material. The blade is very thinly ground and ultra-sharp. The plates of the noble TEDESCO CUSTOM version are chiseled by hand.
The shapely, elegant slipjoint knife is impeccably crafted. Whether in everyday life, in a restaurant or at a picnic, the TEDESCO is a perfect companion that you soon won't want to do without.

Adrien Giovaninetti - blacksmith in Thiers
Before Adrien Giovaninetti began his career as a cutler, he studied music and then worked as a jazz musician and guitar teacher.
In 2013, Adrien left Paris and began training as a cutler at Robert David's forge in Thiers. After just three years, he had already developed his first knife model, the Le LOMBARD.
During his apprenticeship, he lived in a small village called Lombard, which belongs to the district of Thiers. As many knife models are named after a town or region, he called his first work Le LOMBARD.
New models such as the TEDESCO and the PICOLLO followed.
